VIEW THE INTERIOR CORE OF WINE TANKS

Liqua-Core is a clear polycarbonate tube with an automatic check valve to allow winemakers to retrieve core samples from a variety of wine and juice tanks. Depth markers on the tube indicate the levels of the tank.

Think of it as an oversized wine thief for tanks.

Solids in wine and juice do not always settle in a predictable manner; especially cold settling wine must. It makes sense to spot check tanks on a regular basis to verify that settling is progressing and to know when it has halted.

In finished wine, a few inches of additional settling of lees can amount to a significant amount of wine revenue.

Winemakers will find Liqua-Core useful throughout the winery from crush to finished wine.
